Interior design innovators Laurel & Wolf are always inspiring us with their gorgeous decor ideas - we can easily picture ourselves enjoying a glass of wine in pretty much any of them. So when they asked if they could whip up some home designs based on a few of our wine’s personalities, we couldn’t wait to see what they came up with. In celebration of National Wine Day, kick back and enjoy these Laurel & Wolf designs inspired by Cape Route, Summer Water and Folly of the Beast.
White: Cape Route's Tropical Terrace
For a bold backdrop, Tabb went with pineapple wallpaper (a nod to Route's tropical taste). Playful colors and kitschy patterns seamlessly blend like the lychee, orange zest, peach, and grapefruit flavors of the wine.

To go along with her French-girl flair, Winthrop added in an antique rug, a colorful diptych and a banana leaf plant. Summer Water and her adorable room are ready for rosé-all-day. Don’t you think?
Red: Folly of the Beast
Okay, we may have had to look high and low for him, but Folly of the Beast is definitely worth it. This full-bodied, yet unintimidating pinot noir is the kind of guy you want to bring home to Mom. So Winthrop designed a cozy library that's ideal for fine wines.
Nautical art pays homage to Folly's past on the Central Coast of California. Inspired by Folly's seasonal notes of cloves, vanilla and cinnamon, Winthrop included thick materials like leather and wool.
